Qatar hails Libyan polls   

Gulf Times - 10 July, 2012

Qatar has praised Libya’s parliamentary elections as a ‘historic achievement’ aimed at building a new state founded on human dignity and the rule of law, congratulating the Libyan people over the successful voting process.

Qatar has also expressed confidence that the Libyan people will benefit from this important historic moment for Libya’s political transition, reaffirming its commitment to support Libya and advance positive co-operative relationship.
