MedHealth receives UFI approval

Oman Daily Observer - 09 July, 2012

Omanexpo’s MedHealth & Wellness event has been granted the status of UFI-Approved Event last month by UFI — The Association of the Exhibition Industry. The accreditation was given after only two editions of the show.

This new recognition brings to six the number of UFI-approved events organised by Omanexpo. This also seals all the company’s own shows as proven high-quality events. Omanexpo remains as the only exhibitions and conferences organiser in Oman with the highest number of UFI-approved events.

MedHealth’s project manager Gaith Aloul said, “We are pleased and proud of this achievement, considering that we’ve encountered some challenges along the way. This is timely for our upcoming MedHealth & Wellness which will happen in September. This will also push us to work harder to achieve our long-term objectives as well as 1341742528265403200 to be able to provide a higher level of quality service to the industry.”

Omanexpo launched MedHealth & Wellness in 2009 as the pioneer health and wellness show in the Sultanate. Since then, it has paved the way for other healthcare and medica
l shows. It presently stands as the only healthcare exhibition and conference in Oman.

CEO for Communications of SABCO Group Eihab Abutaha remarked “This is an encouraging development for us, as this gives us more leverage to confidently promote the show and the sector to the global market while presenting Oman as a business and investment destination.”

The third edition of MedHealth & Wellness will be from September 25 to 27 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
