The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Spain Adel Hamad Al-Ayyar stressed Kuwaiti Embassy in Madrid is keen on serving the Kuwaiti tourists who chose to spend their vacations in Spain.

He told KUNA that he met a number of local officials, municipality mayors, and heads of police stations here in Malaga governorate in southern Spain, to facilitate the task of caring for the needs of Kuwaiti holidaymakers, besides strengthening bilateral ties.

Head of the office charged with this duty, Second Secretary in the Kuwaiti Embassy in Spain Mishari Al-Nebari, told KUNA that this office was recently opened in June 15. It resumes its duties each summer to accommodate the increasing number of Kuwaiti vacationers in the region, he added.

A number of Kuwaiti diplomats will rotate on the management of the care office which will open till mid-September.

Al-Nebari called on vacationers to ensure validity of visas, and whether it allows them to enter all European countries they plan to visit.

He advised the travelers to avoid bringing expensive Jewelry, or large quantities of cash, and to use credit cards and debit cards instead to avoid theft or customs' accountability. He also asked them to write the personal information of their passport and save it in a safe place, besides keeping photocopies of all their other personal identification documents.
He called on Kuwaiti citizens who own real estate or apartments in Spain to pay the fees and taxes on their due dates, in order to avoid exposure of their properties to risk of sale or auction.

The office is located in Crown Plaza Hotel in Estepona town, near Malaga governorate, and is open to any one requesting help or guidance, he said
