Governor of Madinah Province Receives UN Under-Secretary-General

Madinah, June 06, 2010, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah Province and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Madinah Local Urban Observatory, received here today Dr. Anna Tibaijuka, the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, Executive Director of United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT); and accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed issues of common interest.

Dr. Tibaijuka congratulated Prince Abdulaziz bin Majid on the Habitat Scroll of Honor Award received by Al-Madinah Local Urban Observatory during a ceremony held recently in Washington.
