Agility Logistics Company announced on Tuesday that it has achieved a net profit of KD 14.9 million in the first half of this year, with profitability per share of 14.92 fils, compared to net profit KD 15.5 million in the same period last year.

The company said in a press statement that the net profit achieved in the second quarter of this year amounted to KD 7.8 million by 7.9 fils per share, while its total revenues amounted to KD 348.8 million, an increase of six percent over the same period last year.

The statement quoted the Chairman and Managing Director of Agility Tarek Al-Sultan as saying that the company's financial results showed that development efforts began to bear fruit, especially that earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization improved by 36 percent compared to last year.

Al-Sultan added that the integrated international logistics services, which are the main sector in Agility, have seen an increase in revenue by one percent in the second quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.
