Mobily launches annual roaming competition

Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) will give away SR500,000 in prizes to 10 winners who roam on its network while they visit the Kingdom, the company announced Sunday.

Mobily said the competition is for visitors in the Kingdom who set their phones to roam on Mobily’s network during their stay. The company will carry out the draw for the winners after the end of the Haj season.

Mobily added that using any of the company services such as making calls, sending SMS and using data will grant the customers a free entry to the competition.

Mobily assures to launch this competition on an annual basis, especially during Haj and Umrah seasons.

The goal of the competition is to reflect a positive image about the level of telecommunications services that is provided by the Kingdom. Mobily is in roaming deals with hundreds of operators around the world, so its users can feel at home wherever they go. The roaming deals guarantee that traveling Mobily users have access not only to voice calls, but to Internet connectivity, video calls, MMS and many other services.

Much efforts have been presented by Mobily to introduce several products and services to the visitors of the Kingdom. The company set up many border sales points and at the international airports to serve the Haj and Umrah performers alongside with its main outlets near the Holy Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
