Khaleej Times - 10 July, 2012

iGuzzini has hosted an international economic forum in Recanati to enhance and promote the ongoing cooperation between Italy and UAE.

The four-day forum, held on the occasion of the Endurance Marche 2012, which ran from June 14 to 17, featured both sport and economic initiatives. The forum, ‘A possible future between Italy and UAE’, was attended by UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, who was leading a high level delegation from UAE governmental institutions and private sectors accompanied by the President of the Marche region, Gian Mario Spacca.

Important representatives from the entrepreneurial and the institutional sectors from both the countries has joined the event, sharing models, ideas and inputs to implement the privileged bilateral relations between Italy and the UAE.

During the forum, E. Hisham Abdullah Al Shirawi, vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, and Abdullah Saeed Al Darmaki, chief executive of Khalifa Fund, stressed the importance of building new partnerships and promote economic exchanges between the two countries.

The several business to business meetings and economic workshops, which were also part of the event, also confirmed the positive outcome of the forum acting as promising presuppositions for the next steps to take next to strengthen and implement further the synergy between Italy and the UAE.

By hosting the international forum, iGuzzini has once again reinforced its crucial relation with the Gulf countries: present in the Middle east since 2008 with a regional office in Dubai. It has recently expanded its regional network with operational satellite offices and local territory management in Doha (Qatar) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) with plans in place to also be operative in Jeddah.
