Sabic reinforces presence in Europe

Saudi Gazette - 06 July, 2012

SABIC has appointed country leaders across Europe to ensure that customers take full advantage of SABIC’s global assets and local expertise. Recently, Daniele Petrini was appointed as the Country Leader in Italy; this appointment is connected to our aim to establish a closer cooperation between SABIC’s business and sales operations in polyolefins (polymers business) and engineering thermoplastics.

The new structure will ensure a common approach that will be focused on supporting the needs of local markets and customers.

The appointment of Daniele Petrini will ensure an even stronger local SABIC presence in Italy with a dedicated team focused on providing tailored customer service. By combining a deep understanding of local market challenges and a reliable supply of an extensive material portfolio, SABIC continues to be a strong partner who supports the ambitions of its customers.

Daniele Petrini said: “By bringing the existing business and sales organizations literally under one roof in our country, we will be in a much better position to provide customers with coordinated access to the company’s full portfolio of materials and services, as well as aligned service practices to accelerate time to market. Furthermore we will be better able to connect with relevant plastics governances and institutes.”
