Gulf Air announces special Ramadan fares

Arab News - 19 June, 2012

Gulf Air has announced an all-new promotional initiative for Ramadan with discounted fares and unbeatable deals on flights from Saudi Arabia to several popular destinations across its network in the Middle East, Europe, South Asia and the Far East.

The promotion will run for 10 days, between June 20 and June 30, and offers fares that have been substantially reduced.

For example, an all-inclusive economy class return ticket from Riyadh to London costs SR 2,306 while a return ticket from Jeddah to Mumbai costs SR 1,499 and from Dammam to Beirut SR 1,382.

These value-for-money fares will be available online at gulfair.com, at any Gulf Air office or via the Gulf Air Worldwide Contact Center.

The offer is open for travel from July 18 until October 18, 2012.
“With the holy month of Ramadan less than four weeks away, we recognize that this is a month when many expatriate Muslims from the region begin to plan their travel to join families in observing a month of fasting followed by Eid celebrations in their home country,” said Gulf Air Country Manager Rashed Al-Qeaoud.

“It is also a time for residents and non-Muslims to plan vacations to their favorite destinations well in advance. By offering these promotional fares we would like to make their travel more affordable and enjoyable. We invite all our customers to take advantage of these fantastic value-for-money deals during this Ramadan promotion.”

Gulf Air now operates a very young fleet with an average age of just 5.2 years most of which have been fitted with modern interiors, full flatbed seats on Falcon Gold class, the world’s first inflight entertainment suite, “SkyHub” offering high-speed broadband Internet, mobile phone connectivity, Live TV telecasting popular international entertainment and sports channels, and a vast collection of movies, music and games.
