Mohammed bin Abdullah al Mahrouqi – Chairman of PAEW, inaugurated Waleed Associates Systems Integration Centre (SIC) at Wadi Al Kabir.
In attendance were Syed Mohammed Aumir — General Manager (Industry Division) Siemens Lower Gulf Region, Dubai, Markus Strohmeier — CEO of Siemens LLC, Oman, Andreas Siemes — CEO of Mocotech GmbH, Germany, senior officials from Siemens Dubai and Oman, representatives from government authorities, consultants, companies dealing in water, wastewater, and Oil & Gas market segments.
Waleed Associates LLC (an Omar Zawawi Group Company), Siemens JV Partner in Oman and Siemens Automation Solution Partner took a major stride forward to reinforce its position in the Sultanate as a local Systems Integrator for Industrial Automation, Instrumentation and Variable Frequency Drives with the inauguration of the Systems Integration Centre.
The Systems Integration Centre creates a unique proposition whereby the complete project cycle is executed locally including design, engineering, assembly, comprehensive testing, commissioning, customer & staff training and warranty support.
Syed Mohammed Aumir of Siemens recognised the commitment and investment made by Waleed Associates. He added that Siemens has recently awarded certificates to Waleed Associates as Solution Partner Automation & as Solution Partner Drives. He added that the Systems Integration Centre and Waleed Associates role as a Systems Integrator is fully backed by Siemens in terms of technical product support and quality.
Markus Strohmeier highlighted the importance of JV partnership between Siemens and Waleed Associates and the role of this facility in terms of achieving the Siemens goal of coming closer to its customers.
Andreas Siemes highlighted the sound relationship between Waleed Associates and Mocotech GmbH and appreciated the efforts taken by Waleed Associates in establishing such a modern facility to serve its customers. Mocotech is a manufacturer of Medium Voltage Soft Starters and Auto Transformer Starters.
