Syrian opposition groups will meet here Friday to focus on means to unify the stance of its various groups.

Member of the media bureau of the National Syrian Council Mohammad Sarmini told KUNA via phone that the two-day meeting would focus on uniting the opposition's efforts in overcoming differences amongst its groups, adding the meeting comes a day before the grand conference of the Syrian opposition that would be held in Cairo under the Arab League sponsorship.

The meeting gathers leaders from the main Syrian opposition groups in addition to smaller entities representing tribal leaders.
