HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani held a session of talks with Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi yesterday evening at Al Wajbah Palace.

Talks during the session dealt with prospects of co-operation between the two countries and means of bolstering and developing them in various fields. The talks also touched on a number of issues, foremost of which was the situation in Yemen.

The session was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and a number of Their Excellencies ministers.

On the Yemeni sides, the session was attended by member of the official delegation accompanying the Yemeni president.

HH the Emir hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of the Yemeni president and his accompanying delegation.

The Yemeni delegation later left Doha. They were seen off at Doha International Airport among others by HE the Minister of Economy and Finance Yousef Hussein Kamal.
