The Khalifa Bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation (KBZHF) has started to purchase food supplies from local markets in preparation for distributing them among the needy people in Yemen.

The foundation bought over 30 baskets of food supplies from the Yemeni markets in the first phase of the initiative to implement the order by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan allocating Dhs500 million to purchase and distribute essential food items for the Yemeni people.

Over 30 Yemeni families will benefit from the humanitarian gesture in the current phase as each basket contains food items sufficient for five to eight persons for the next three months.
