The leadership, government and people of Yemen are grateful to the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for ordering allocation of Dh 500 million for buying food items to be distributed among Yemeni people on urgent basis, says Yemeni Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa.

“This humanitarian gesture of the UAE leadership reflects the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the UAE and Yemen. The UAE support to Yemen is a continuation of generous initiatives and legacy of the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan,” he said.

“The people of Yemen are grateful to the UAE leadership’s role in reaching out to them in the times of difficulties,” he added.
